Deboyne Islands

The Deboyne group sits between the Louisiade Archipelago and Misima.

The Calvados Chain

The Calvados Chain stretches across the northern side of the Louisiade Archipelago. Although SE tradewinds almost guarantee a lee shore at some anchorages, the protection of the lagoon is sufficient under most conditions to allow good anchorage.

The Louisiade Archipelago

These islands lie mostly in the middle in of the Louisiades lagoon and generally provide sheltered anchorage on their northern shores.
