Robinson's Anchorage

Robinson's Anchorage is a large bay formed in the lee of Kuwanak Island. The deep muddy bottom of the bay provides excellent holding, despite the occasional bullets that funnel down of the steep hillsides.

This anchorage offers the choice of relative seclusion as it is possible to anchor a long way from the nearby villages if you are tiring of the constant trading and visits of the locals.

Hazardous Wildlife

Locals warned us not to swim here as they have lost pigs to a large crocodile.
